For a quick note on the Real estate securitisation law passed in July 2003, see our news page for July 2003.

The Government enacted on 30th June, 2000 a new law to facilitate the formation of trust enterprises which will acquire receivables and other assets to convert them into marketable securities. Analysts feel that this is a first step towards creation of securitisation SPVs in Taiwan.
