Why
we
Our experience and accomplishment as finance trainer world-over is difficult to match. Over the last 16 years, we have conducted at least 300 workshops
at different places.
We maintain an excellent network of high caliber
financial trainers from all over the World. Our principals are leading
financial academicians which helps us to connect with the best of
financial brains from both academia and industry.
We have a global experience and have handled variety of audience. We
would be able to deliver highly cost effective and targeted workshops
for the audience you have in mind. We have so far got "excellent" ratings from majority of our
course participants. Feedback summaries from some of our events may
be found on this page.
We have a special place as a training organisation:
-
First, ours is a network of financial trainers.
Unlike typical event producers who are commercial organisations with
virtually no background on the topic under consideration, we are
trainers ourselves. We understand what your needs are and we
understand in-depth the topic that you want us to train your
executives on. You will find a lot of difference between talking to
us and talking to a typical event producer.
- This also explains why our courses are cost effective for you. You
are not paying for the profits of the event producers..
- Since we understand the topic and the audience both, we may, in
fact, help you to tailor the course outlines too, which is something
that a typical event producer will never be able to do. In short, you
are not talking to a sales professional - you are talking to a teacher.
Not surprisingly, therefore, we are forerunners in training on specialised
subjects in finance.
Feedback
of some of our attendees
- Participants on Secured Lending Course,
IFCI: "An excellent and enriching program that shared intricate
details about SARFAESI ACT and other recovery mechanisms." The program
scored an overall rating of 4.56 on a scale of 5.
- An in-house client, a leading Australian bank: "Just a quick
message to say how pleased we were with the outcome of the three sessions
you gave. Given the vastly different audiences and levels of knowledge,
I think based on my personal observations and comments from participants
that you achieved a greatly increased understanding of the
product."
- Uschi Phuah, Straits Lion, Singapore: "Presenter has very good
knowledge; very patient too."
- Kelvin Leong, Malaysia Rating Corporation: "A walking library!
Excellent knowledge-base"
- Tatsaya Imade, UFJ Institute, Japan: "Great person, education
with philosophy".
- Teo Kok Liang, Mizuho Corporate Bank.: "Very knowledgeable and
has provided me a good foundation in securitisation know-how"
- Name suppressed, Bank of Finland, Helsinki: "Vinod definitely
knows his stuff!".
- Peter Van den Heever, Nedcor Investment Bank, South Africa: "Excellent
insight and knowledge of the subject and most insightful 2 day session".
- Anon: "Given his non-practitioner background, his knowledge on
ABS is outstanding, may even exceed that of practitioners"
- Francia T Manlapaz, SEC, Philippines: "He has mastery over the
subject matter".
- Letitia Chan, J P Morgan: "Vinod is very knowledgeable and professional
- Chan Peng Fun, ABN Amro: "Very knowledgeable. Able to convey
in simple way"
Frequently asked
questions
The
why-we question: There are any number of financial training
companies around. What is so special about yours?
Everyone is unique, and so are we. However, it is important to understand
that ours is a network of financial trainers and we are experienced
trainers ourselves.
Here are some of the C's to our Credit
- Comprehensive: All our courses are comprehensive: we cover every aspect
of the subject to give to the participant a thorough and all-pervasive
insight.
- Clear: Our faculties are well known for their clear communication.
We make a special request to all our faculties to be as down to earth as
possible.
- Case studies: We spend substantial time discussing recent case studies.
We have a substantial base of case studies covering recent innovative
deals.
- Contemporary: Our faculties make a special effort to deliver stuff
which is contemporary. We constantly update ourselves with what is
happening around.
- Carry-away stuff: For each course we run, we prepare presentation
material, which is comprehensive, painfully prepared for the course.
- Competitive: Our pricing is fairly competitive compared to other international
faculties.
Are your
courses plain theoretical teaching, or are there case studies, workings?
We do discuss live case studies. Practicals or exercises depends on the
nature of the course.
We have a comprehensive base of case studies specifically designed for
our courses. We select representative cases highlighting a new idea, new
application or a new structure. Most of our cases are fairly recent.
Who are your
faculties?
We maintain a network of high profile highly competent financial
trainers. They are academicians or practitioners. We will be willing to
share the faculty profile based on specific interest. What are the typical fees we charge?
This depends on the level of the course and the faculty fees. By way of
an estimate, the fees may vary between Euro 1000 to Euro 3000
per day of time spent. Time spent includes time in travelling. For a
basic level workshop, the minimum fee may be Euro 2500, and for an
advanced course, Euro 6000. This is apart from reimbursement
of actual expenses.
How many faculties/ trainers will be travelling?
Generally one.
How do we ensure audience satisfaction?
Our past performance does this. In the past, well over 75% of the participants
have consistently rated our courses are excellent.
What equipment do you require?
Usual presentation devices - a computer projector. Mostly we would bring
along our own laptop, but should it be required, you might have to arrange
for one.
What is the typical size of the audience?
Upto you - from 25 to 40. But we would suggest you should cap it to 40.
